Nonsuch 30 Ultra

The Nonsuch 30 Ultra is the interior layout offered from 1983 on the same Nonsuch 30 hull: a private forward stateroom with an offset Pullman double, vanity and hanging locker behind a teak bi-fold door, a large head with a separate shower stall, and an 8 ft by 10 ft main cabin aft with an L-shaped dinette to starboard, galley to port and a nav station. Forward stateroom with double berth, then the head-and-shower compartment opposite the galley, then the aft saloon whose dinette converts to a double; the quarter berths of the Classic are eliminated. Engine on Ultras is the 27 hp Westerbeke (a V-drive installation per Canadian Boating) on a conventional shaft.

Modelled as a generation rather than an interior option because buyers and the owners' association treat "Ultra" as a distinct model; the 1984 introduction date given by Canadian Boating conflicts with the 1983 given by three other reviews and 1983 is used. The late Nova version (carbon mast and wishbone, revised interior) is not modelled separately.
