Overview
The Nonsuch 30 Classic is the original 1978 interior of the Nonsuch 30: opposing settees with a drop-leaf table forward, an L-shaped galley to port opposite a large head with shower, and quarter berths either side of the companionway aft. Accommodations
Two hanging lockers forward, an open saloon amidships that later boats could divide with a slide-up panel and bi-fold doors, galley to port, head to starboard, and port and starboard quarter berths aft (double-berth options on both sides). Wave Train counts five berths. The forward lounging area doubles as the sleeping cabin, which is the layout's main drawback compared with the Ultra's private stateroom.
Variants
Modelled as a generation of the Nonsuch 30 because the used market and the owners' association list "Classic" and "Ultra" as distinct boats with different prices, even though the difference is interior only. The earliest ~125 hulls, all Classics, have the Volvo saildrive.

Saildrive
Hulls up to about #125 (all Classics) carried the 23 hp Volvo MD11C saildrive; later Classics have the 27 hp Westerbeke shaft drive.
