Pearson Yachts

Founded by cousins Clinton and Everett Pearson in Bristol, Rhode Island, and later based in a large Portsmouth, RI plant, Pearson Yachts was one of the first volume builders of fibreglass auxiliaries; Grumman took a controlling interest in 1961 and the company closed in the 1991 recession.
