Costa Mesa, California builder founded by Roger MacGregor out of a Stanford MBA thesis on efficient boatbuilding (1964 per Practical Sailor; Wikipedia says the early 1960s). Sold entry-level trailer sailers (first as Ventures) and built more than 36,000 boats before closing on MacGregor's retirement in early 2013.
