Vince Lazzara

Vincent S. Lazzara, a pioneer of fibreglass sailboat construction, co-founded Columbia Yachts in California and then Gulfstar Yachts in Florida in 1970, where he designed most of the company's 1970s cruisers including the Gulfstar 36, 41, 43, 50 and 53; his son Richard (R.C.) Lazzara designed many of the later models.
