Carl Alberg

Swedish-born (Gothenburg, 1900) American designer who worked for John Alden before drawing the Pearson Triton in 1958, the design that launched volume fibreglass cruiser production; his 56 designs, including the Alberg 30, Alberg 35 and Cape Dory line, account for more than 10,000 boats. Died 1986.
